The output is re-encoded to remove metadata. JPG quality or file size may change slightly; embedded color profiles may also be removed. Your original file is untouched.

/ HOW IT WORKS

Share the photo, not its history.

  1. Choose a JPG, PNG, or WebP photo.
  2. We re-encode its pixels in your browser and inspect the result for standard EXIF and XMP blocks.
  3. Preview and download the cleaned copy.
/ GOOD TO KNOW

Questions, answered.

Does my photo leave my device?

No. Selection, processing, and download happen in your browser.

Will this remove GPS location?

GPS details stored in standard EXIF or XMP metadata are removed when the image is re-encoded. Information visible in the pixels, such as a street sign, remains visible.

Does it keep the original image quality?

PNG is exported without lossy compression. JPG is re-encoded at high quality, so file size and some pixel values can change. Color profiles may also be removed.

What does the verification check?

It scans the exported JPG, PNG, or WebP file for standard EXIF and XMP metadata blocks before enabling download. It does not certify that a picture contains no visible or unusual embedded information.
